Broken Dreamer

Broken Dreamer spread his wings to fly.
Someone shot him in the midnight sky.
He crashed severely, and on the ground he lie.
He was left there to bleed and began to die.

"Broken Dreamer, let Me heal you,
mend your wings, so you can fly.
Broken Dreamer, let Me teach you,
show you how to touch the sky."

Broken Dreamer cried into the night:
"Someone help me; I don't want to die!"
Someone saw him as he walked by.
He had compassion and carried him inside.

"Broken Dreamer, let Me heal you,
mend your wings, so you can fly.
Broken Dreamer, let Me teach you,
show you how to touch the sky."

The mender sewed his broken wings.
Broken Dreamer shared his broken dreams.
The mender retaught him how to fly,
and bestowed him faith to touch the sky.

show you how to touch the sky."
